Went library today, I was all alone. :( Saw Kelly, Hou Yi, Mei Tin and Mei Wan there, they were sitting at their own table.
Then I got a phonecall. Sabrina asked if I was there. Answering affirmatively, the next thing I knew, she was teman-ing me at the library! :D
Then we went swimming, after pigging out at the mamak. (Hou Yi came along as well, her dad was fetching her from my house.)

Oh Sab...So I went to the library today. Planned to study, which I did. But I also hung out and chatted with a friend, who's very close to me. We didn't really click until this year, and never realised each other existed until this year too. But he's one of the few friends that I can properly open up to and share secrets with.
So we talked. And somehow the topic came to how SPM's around the corner, and how we'll never see each other again after that.
It got me thinking. About how I used to be in Form 1, and everything that has happened until now.
I used to be this fat, short, bookish girl, the one that no one notices in class, and probably will not remember. I had such low self-esteem, that I actually thought, "Screw it, I can't wait to get out of this shithole with cliques and prejudices."
Then came Form 2. I met Samantha, Yee Peng, and Hou Yi. I guess that you could say that they were my first ever real friends in school. So thanks to the 3 of you, I opened up, and started talking more. (But not more enough to convince them that I was not a bookworm anymore. I was, but still.)
Form 3 was the turning point in my life. There I was going to sit with Magdalene, when this short girl asked me to join her and Wei Mae and sit with them. Until now, I sincerely am grateful that Tania is my good friend. She made me more sociable, increased my self-confidence, and was utmostly my best friend. She gave me advice about boys, she spazzed with me about bands (we were young lah), we exchanged secrets, she made so many ditzy comments that I managed to polish up on my sarcasm. (Fun times :P)
But she wasn't the only one, no. In Form 3, there was this new girl who just transferred, and she was short, and she talked reallyreally fast. Her name? Kelly Ng. (Or Kelly Ping, whichever she prefers.)
We got talking in Form 3, but I never really hung out with her. A few times yes, but not everyday. (And apparently I was still known as the girl who always read books. wth =.='')
When I managed to get into 4B, I got Kelly as my deskmate. Not only did she chastise me for reading too much, she always encouraged me to go out. (Or was it merajuk-ed? Haha, joking lah. :D) She lagi increased my self-esteem, and for once, I actually felt... I don't know, pretty? She's the one who I went prom-dress shopping with, the one who camwhores and makes me camwhore with her, who sleptover at my house so many times, who is, deep down, a very very kind and helpful friend.
Then 2008 turned into 2009. By that time I was quite close to Kelly, Sam, Yee Peng, and Tania. Then this new girl came into out class. She transferred in last year to 4A, but for some reason, she came into our class this year. And it was while having nilam period that I actually talked to Sabrina.
For some reason, I until this day have no idea, I feel that the both of us have so much in common, but yet are so different. I just can't explain it. She influenced me, in so many ways that I can't say them all here, but I am also very lucky to have a friend like her. She pays me compliments when I least expect it (very paiseh leh), she's intelligent, her thoughts on things are interesting, and she's all-in-all a great girlfriend. :) (And she makes me camwhore with her too.)
Samantha is also one-of-a-kind. She's so happy go lucky and makes me smile often with her lame jokes (not always lah), she's always making me go watch one video or the other, and she's just able to bring the mood up.
Yee Peng also one kind. She's so quiet, you wouldn't expect her to have sarcastic remarks, big giggles and facial expressions that are lol-worthy. She's the one I'm always leaning my head on, or hooking my arm 'round hers, or hugging her from behind. (What's a little skinship between girls?) She's the pillar in our group, the quiet stoic one.
And so, to Kelly, Samantha, Sabrina, Tania and Yee Peng:
Thank you for being such a great friend to me. Please please let's keep in touch yah, don't ffk when I ask you out. And I'll never forget you, ever. :D

There are many people that I wished I'd known sooner. I can't list them all, but they are people who, I think, I could be good friends with.

I'm sorry that I let you get all the flak from Cik Fatima in Chem, ehhehe. :) Sorry yah...
To the rest of the class:
I can't really say that I know you all well, but thanks for making our class the most awesome and unique one. We may not have been close to each other, but we still were one class together. And where else could you have found a whole class of self-proclaimed bananas?
To any friends that I have missed out:
I may have not listed your name, but that doesn't mean that I don't love you any less as a friend. Thank you for the gossip, the good times, the hanging out, the help with homework, the listening ear and the consoling words, the extra yummy food, the smiles, the laughter, the lameness, the camwhoring, the sharing, the joy and the love.
